Introduction:
The majestic, historic Windsor Hotel is Melbourne’s last remaining grand hotel, located on Spring Street just across Parliament House and the Treasury Gardens. Established in 1883, the five-star hotel features the graciousness of a bygone era, with classically-decorated rooms and suites and stunning Victorian architecture.
Afternoon Tea at the hotel is an unmissable experience - served the traditional way on three-tiered silver stands with French sparkling wine (or Champagne), sandwiches, delectable cakes and scones with jam and cream.
For those joining us on weekends, a sumptuous buffet of cakes, petit desserts and a decadent chocolate fountain will be available for all to enjoy.
The Windsor is conveniently located just a block away from Melbourne’s theatre district, including the Princess Theatre, Her Majesty’s Theatre and the Regent Theatre. The luxury boutiques of Collins Street and the departmental stores of Bourke Street are just two tram stops away.

Our cosy Traditional Rooms are our smallest room type, best suited for short Melbourne stays. Each room is approximately 22 square-metres of historic charm, with a Queen-sized bed, desk and marble bathroom with shower over bath.
Superior Room @ AUD $260 Bed & Breakfast for 1 pax
Our 33 square-metre Superior Rooms offer roomy comfort for longer getaways. Available in a King or Twin bed set-up, they include a desk and marble bathroom with shower over bath.
Deluxe Room @ AUD $295 Bed & Breakfast for 1 pax
Our generously sized Deluxe Rooms sit at approximately 40 square-metres, offering spacious quarters to spread out in the heart of the city. Available in a King or Twin bed set-up, they include magnificent high ceilings, a desk, lounge chairs and a marble bathroom with shower over bath.
Junior Suite @ AUD $385 Bed & Breakfast for 1 pax
Our two-room Junior Suites offer a separate area for privacy, work or play. Walk in and you’ll find a bedroom (King Bed) and separate lounge, with a desk, marble bathroom with shower over bath and sofa bed for an additional guest.
Extra person charge for roll-away/sofa bed and amenities per room, per night is $55.00 (not available for Traditional room).
Additional Breakfast charge per person, per day $35.00.
